HOW TO BUILD A YARD FIRE PIT
Stone outdoor fire pits make a great addition to any home or garden space, but they aren't necessarily the easiest things to build. They've got so many curves that it's sometimes hard to get a good angle on everything. But with the right tools and materials in place, this project will be straightforward enough that even a first-timer could do it.
STEPS
- Choose the proper location first by researching any rules and regulations in your area. Make sure to space your fire pit far from anything flammable.
- Dig the ground area where you want your fire pit to be.
- Pour a compact layer of crushed stone into the pit.
- Begin to lay your stone in a circle and watch as it takes shape. Secure the stones.
- Place the fire bowl of your choosing into the stone pit.
