Barbados Flag

The national flag of Barbados was officially adopted on November 30, 1966. It consists of a tricolor of two bands of blue separated by a golden middle band. A black trident head is centred within the golden band. The trident head - also known as the 'broken trident' - symbolizes Barbados' independence from the United Kingdom and each point represents a point of democracy.The blue bands symbolize the ocean and the sky, and the golden band symbolizes the sand of Barbados. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4"x6" size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Also available below is a Waterproof Vinyl Decal (suitable for outdoor use).   Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
